Photo updates: BWA, TXW, plus more
I've been very busy recently, so there are lots of new photos up on the site to check out. I'll take them into chronological order.

The first, SWWA in West Bromwich, Birmingham, on 01/09/07. The resurrection of Sovereign continued with probably their best show for a while, featuring top star Poison, plus big Midlands names like British Born Steele and The Bouncer.

BWA in Hanley, Stoke-On-Trent, on 02/09/07. BWA is one of my long time favourite promotions but I haven't been able to make many of their shows recently. This outdoor show featured a rare appearance by the legendary Kendo Nagasaki, part of his current tour prior to his night with LDN in November. Despite a little rain the show featured much top British talent, including Phil Bedwell, Paul Beswick, Chris Curtis, Stixx, Pitbull Bulk and Timm Wylie.

WAR in Rugby, on 08/09/07. The first WAR show I've had the chance to see this year, and the promotion continues to pack out the school hall they run. An always passionate crowd saw appearances by local favourites Spindoctor, Louis Zerr and Falcon, plus a Ladder Match, and a rare Casket Match.

TXW in Coventry, on 09/09/07. This was the first TXW show in their new venue of Jumping Jacks, a rather upmarket alternative to the old venue. To me it didn't seem to create the same atmosphere as before, but the show itself was great, considering the absence of many regular names. In particular a Four Way contest between Zach Sabre Junior, Stiro, Ashton Smith and Chris Stone had to be one of my Match of the Year candidates so far.

LPW from Lea Hall, Birmingham, on 16/09/07. The show featured all the big LPW names, including Ronin, a big storyline built around The Firm, the return of Chris Stone, plus an appearance from PWA stars, such as Urban Warrior.

AWE from Tipton, near Dudley, on 22/09/07. The best show I've seen in featured months, before a Sports Hall packed with 300 fans, the show was headlined by a 15-To-1 Rumble, ending with a Ladder Match featuring Lee Hunter, Brandon Thomas, Carl Mizzery and the recently turned Inferno. All this plus the retirement of chav icon Flash Williams.

AWW from Digbeth, Birmingham, on 27/09/07. This show featured the wrestling debut of the very-over, referee Potter, best known backstage as being the victim of many attempts to check if he wears a cup. The main event featured Potter teaming with AWW Champion Carnage, to take on the tag team of Desirable Danny D and Spud, and, as expected, the Potter's Elbow put away both opponents. The show also featured rare appearances from Jonny Storm and Dave Moralez.

Finally, KSW from Kingstanding, Birmingham, on 29/09/07. A packed social club saw an appearance by KSW Champion 'Mr. Boombastic' Brandon Thomas, long time KSW and British star Carl Mizzery, plus a number of local names. KSW is currently building to its biggest show of the past few years in West Bromwich Social Club on Saturday 27/10/07.

A big variety of shows this time, and it continues to show the wealth of talent and variety of promotion on the British scene. As always, do check out as much as you can.
